LT168A/B is a high efficient UartTFT controller with 32bit RISC core structure. It can be connected to a host MCU through Uart interface, and driven by simple commands sent by the host MCU. Upon receiving the host command, LT168 will then deliver the display contents onto the connected LCD panel. LT168A/B has an embedded high speed graphics processor that can enhance the display performance and also ease the host MCU load on processing graphic data. LT168A/B supports 8bit/16bit parallel MCU panels with maximum resolution of 800*480, SPI/QSPI MCU panels, and RGB TFT panels with maximum resolution of 480*480.
LT168A/B owns a maximum processing speed of 200MHz, 512KB/2MB Flash, and 768KB SRAM. The optimized hardware design makes it possible to greatly enhance display effects, such as picture rotation, slide, and smooth pointer movements. Other than Uart interfaces, LT168A/B also provides a QSPI Flash interface that can access external SPI Flash for pictures, GIF, and fonts data in high speed. In addition, LT168A/B supports the latest UI editing tools (UI_Editor) which enables developers to easily implement their display layout and operations through built-in widgets, such as displaying pictures, GIF, progress bar, trend chart, text, QRcode, playing audio (PWM, DMA mode), and touch functions with multi-variable control etc. Once the UI design is done, developers may further utilize the emulation tool, UI_Emulator, to examine how their design works on the computer directly. These tools not only can shorten the design cycle, but also reduce the workload for designers. Furthermore, LT168A/B provides multiple SCI (Uart) interfaces that can connect to peripherals such as blue tooth modules and WiFi modules, etc. USB interfaces, SD cards, analog input AIN, PWM, INT interrupts, and even an embedded RTC are also available. These interfaces can be set up as normal IO interfaces too. LT168A/B complies with vehicle regulations, and can be applied to related applications. For TFT displays with 16bits MCU interface, LT168B can support applications with dual screen. LT168B also supports Little VGL for smooth display effects.
